As a Senior Engineer Mechanical Simulation (f/m/div), you will be responsible for thermal and mechanical simulations of our power semiconductor modules. This way, you will contribute to making the future more efficient and green.

In your new role you will:

• Automate module development workflows, especially simulation
• Support in the development of a web based engineering platform
• Conducting thermal and thermo-mechanical finite element simulations of power modules
• Enable design optimization workflows (e.g. Ansys optiSLang)
• Drive digitalization in specific projects

You identify and understand the underlying causes of quality defects and derive appropriate solutions. You are willing to take calculated risks and, if necessary, take appropriate measures. In doing so, you address possible differences of opinion directly, promptly and objectively, and take responsibility for common goals.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A successfully completed university degree (diploma/master/PhD) in mechanical engineering, materials science or a comparable field
• At least 3 years of experience in the field of finite element simulation, preferably Ansys
• A well-developed understanding of mechanical concepts
• Extensive knowledge in programming and experience in automating workflows (e.g. Python, VBA)
• A high degree of reliability, sense of responsibility and team player qualities
• Fluent proficiency in spoken and written German and English (each at least B2 level)
